The series is our effort to offer spiritual encouragement and training through short, bite-sized videos. The videos are first released on the official Public Affairs Facebook Page.
In this clip, I talk about loneliness. (the clip is at the end of this post)
In his book “Oh the Places You Will Go!,” Dr. Seuss tells us, “Whether you like it or not, alone will be something you’ll be quite a lot.”
Lonely seasons of life can be some of the hardest times to get through. We’re created to live in community with other people, so being alone for too long isn’t natural or healthy.
Thankfully, lonely seasons don’t last forever. They eventually come to an end.
In this video, I offer a few suggestions on how we can navigate through the darkness as safely as possible:
- Recognize the difference between a Life Season and a Life Sentence
- Ask yourself: What story do I want to be able to tell when this is over?
- Remember: you’re not unique. We’re all in this together.
